Vice President of Sales

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Vice President of Sales to lead revenue growth for our client in Calgary. The role focuses on margin‑driven sales, pricing optimisation, and competitive positioning across energy and telecom markets.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans to drive revenue.
• Identify new market opportunities and oversee marketing campaigns that increase sales and reduce churn.
• Lead pricing strategy, monitor competitor activity and collaborate with Finance to maximise margins.
• Manage all customer acquisition channels, including the Energy Marketer network and direct sales, while optimising commission structures.
• Develop integrated sales and marketing campaigns, improve brand awareness in Alberta and align marketing activities with sales objectives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and the CTO to enhance user experience, systems and cross‑functional commercial initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• 10‑15+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in telecom, energy or subscription‑based models.
• Proven track record in pricing strategy, channel sales and competitive market analysis.
• Experience leading internal teams and external vendors.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $220,000 CAD per year.
• Performance‑based bonus up to 100% of base salary.
