Vehicle Mechanic – Commercial Trucks

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Surrey, BC. You will work on commercial transport trucks and trailer systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The role involves hands‑on repair, maintenance and customer communication.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial truck and trailer systems.
• Inspect, test and diagnose mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services and test repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Estimate parts and labour costs and complete detailed service reports.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1‑2 years of experience working on automotive or truck systems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strong hand‑eye coordination.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods and use personal safety equipment.
