Production Coordinator

About the role

Sterling Fleet Outfitters is seeking an organized, proactive Production Coordinator to keep operations running smoothly. The role links customers, Sales, Purchasing, and Production, ensuring projects stay on schedule and move efficiently from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production schedules and technician workloads, monitoring timelines and addressing conflicts.
• Prioritize jobs based on customer needs, resources, and capacity, and communicate status to customers.
• Ensure materials, vehicles, and information are ready before jobs begin, track incoming vehicles, and prepare work orders.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems and support handoffs between departments.
• Coordinate subcontractors and identify process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, accountable, and reliable with proven follow‑through.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
