About the role
Join our team at The Red Market Ltd. as a Vegetable Farm Worker, operating within a vertical farming system in Redcliff, Alberta. You will be responsible for hands‑on cultivation, harvesting, and processing of a variety of vegetables.
Key responsibilities
- Cultivate crops using a vertical farming system.
- Hand‑harvest vegetables such as bell peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
- Cut agricultural crops and divide fresh produce into marketable and non‑marketable lots.
- Maintain and manage vine growth, canopy, and grapes.
- Pack fruits and vegetables and clean work areas.
- Report signs of insect or disease damage.
Required profile
- Organized and reliable.
- Team player with a quick learning ability.
- Physically capable of handling loads up to 23 kg and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail in a fast‑paced, repetitive environment.
