Seeds Agronomic Intern (Ontario)

About the role

Syngenta Canada, a leader in agricultural innovation, is looking for a Seeds Agronomic Assistant Intern through its Emerging Talent Program. The internship runs from April 2027 to August 2027 and works alongside the Seed Agronomist Team to support growers and retailers with customer service and product information. It offers hands-on experience and exposure to day-to-day business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and run commercial NK seed field trials and collect in-season data as required.
• Support Agronomists together with the sales team within your territory.
• Help deliver high-quality customer service to growers and retailers.
• Gain experience in agricultural practices, learn about the products and interact directly with grower and retail customers.

Required profile

• A positive attitude, eagerness to learn and a passion for agriculture.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university in Agriculture, Science, Business or a related field.
• G-class licence.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and comfortable driving long distances.
• Prior research experience and previous summer experience are assets but not required.
