About the role
We are looking for a reliable greenhouse labourer to support daily operations at our Redcliff facility. The role involves hands‑on work in a hot environment, ensuring crops are healthy and the greenhouse remains clean and organized.
Key responsibilities
- Clean crops and perform general greenhouse cleaning.
- Clear and collect brush, debris, and waste from fields and work areas.
- Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning germination.
- Cut agricultural seed and deleaf crops to accelerate ripening.
- Guide growing shoots into optimal positions and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
- Plant bulbs and seeds, and dig up wrapped rootballs of trees and shrubs.
Required profile
- No formal degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience in greenhouse or agricultural work is an asset.
- Ability to work in a hot environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and bending, crouching or kneeling as needed.
