University Talent Acquisition Recruiter (AUTA Field)

About the role

Amazon’s AUTA Field Recruiting team is looking for a University Talent Acquisition Recruiter to join its Toronto office. In this role you will partner with full‑lifecycle recruiters, hiring managers and HR business partners to attract and place early‑career talent that supports Amazon’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute early‑career talent strategies, including recruiting plans with clear deliverables and timelines.
• Source, assess and close candidates for university and internship positions, managing the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Build and maintain pipelines of potential candidates through market research and ongoing relationship management.
• Facilitate interview events and coordinate with hiring teams to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
• Drive process improvements, create standard operating procedures and track metrics to meet internal service level agreements.
• Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives that enhance best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruiting, preferably within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet timelines and achieve hiring targets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Demonstrated capability to build relationships with hiring managers, business leaders and candidates.
