Truck Driver – Full‑Time Permanent Position

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team in Edmonton on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods, including hazardous materials, while ensuring vehicle readiness and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload goods, including dangerous goods.
• Inspect vehicle condition, tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage equipment, and perform brake adjustments.
• Conduct emergency roadside repairs as needed.
• Perform pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections and oversee preventive maintenance.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Class 1 or A Driver’s License.
• Experience in truck driving is an asset.

Required skills

• Class 1 or A Driver’s License.
• Ability to load and unload goods safely.
• Vehicle inspection skills (tires, lights, brakes, cold‑storage equipment).
• Brake adjustment and emergency roadside repair capability.
• Conducting pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspections.
• Accurate record‑keeping of cargo, hours of service, distance and fuel usage.
• Handling and transporting dangerous goods.

What we offer

• Competitive hourly wage starting at CAD 37.5 per hour.
