Training Specialist

About the role

Vena Solutions is seeking a Training Specialist to join its Customer Training team. You will deliver best‑in‑class training experiences for customers, partners, and internal employees, primarily through remote instructor‑led sessions and webinars. The role offers flexible work arrangements, including fully remote, hybrid, or onsite in Toronto.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate live, primarily remote, instructor‑led training and webinars for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Apply instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and technology to create curricula and learning tools.
• Create, revise, and edit high‑quality training materials in various formats.
• Maintain subject‑matter expertise on Vena products and stay current with updates and releases.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and other cross‑functional teams to align training programs with business goals.
• Document and maintain accurate training records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
• Support internal and external learners through the learning inbox and manage session logistics.
• Travel as needed to client events and site visits.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in training or consulting, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong live and on‑camera presentation skills, adaptable to different audience personas.
• Ability to apply adult learning theories to classroom and virtual settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and leading web‑based meetings.
• Comfort working with diverse audiences across various levels of expertise.
