Tools & Infrastructure Reliability Specialist

About the role
Ubisoft is looking for a Specialist in Tools & Infrastructure Reliability to ensure the continuous stability, performance and scalability of the operational tools and infrastructure that support its Games-as-a-Service (GaaS) development pipelines. You will design, develop and operate build, configuration, versioning and deployment pipelines while guiding development teams toward best‑practice automation.
Key responsibilities
- Advise development teams on technology and tooling choices to improve visibility, control and robustness of services.
- Design, operate and own build, configuration, versioning and publishing pipelines, including packaging, signing and SBOM generation.
- Implement and support CI/CD tooling, automated testing, quality and security checks, as well as Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) for reproducible deployments.
- Maintain tooling products to meet internal SLOs and document deployment guidelines and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with teams to diagnose and resolve online‑service issues and manage incident‑management processes.
- Define and track SLA/SLO/SLI, deploy observability (logs, metrics, traces), manage capacity and contribute to FinOps initiatives.
Required profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
- 5‑8 years of experience in software development and system administration.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure automation and high‑throughput, resilient architectures.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.
Required skills
- Linux and Windows system administration.
- Programming languages: Python, Go, C#, C++.
- CI/CD tooling, IaC, build and deployment pipelines.
- Cloud environment management and automation.
- Observability (logs, metrics, traces), SLA/SLO/SLI definition.
- Incident‑management processes and FinOps awareness.
