Therapeutic Specialist – Hepatology (Ottawa, Quebec & Atlantic)

About the role

GSK is seeking a Therapeutic Specialist focused on Hepatology to cover Ottawa, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. Reporting to the Hepatology National Sales Manager, you will drive customer engagement and maximize the value of GSK’s Hepatology portfolio across the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business plans tailored to the assigned territory, setting short‑ and long‑term goals.
• Build strong, trust‑based relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and clinic decision‑makers, and allied health stakeholders.
• Design and execute customer‑focused initiatives that increase GSK advocacy, accelerate launch uptake and support future portfolio growth.
• Engage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal use of Hepatology medicines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners—including Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Education Managers, System Solutions Manager and Marketing—to develop programs that improve patient care.
• Navigate territory challenges, applying business acumen to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Prepare and manage territory budgets, ensuring responsible resource allocation.

Required profile

• Residence within the Ottawa, Quebec & Atlantic Canada territory.
• Ability to work autonomously in a field‑based role.
• Strong business acumen and effective communication skills.
• Proven capability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Experience collaborating with internal cross‑functional teams.
