Territory Manager – Veterinary Channel (Pet Care)

About the role

As a Territory Manager for the Veterinary Channel, you will build and nurture relationships with veterinarians and clinic staff across the Ottawa region to grow Purina’s market presence. You will promote the therapeutic portfolio, deliver educational seminars, and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinic business reviews using Power BI and internal tools to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop, execute, and adapt a territory plan aligned with regional priorities.
• Deliver veterinary education seminars on nutrition and Purina products.
• Maintain efficient call frequency, manage CRM updates, and report field activity and competitor actions.
• Support working capital by reducing Days Deduction Outstanding and managing bad goods.

Required profile

• 3+ years of sales or account management experience in CPG or healthcare.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to travel frequently within the territory.
• Residence in the Ottawa area or willingness to relocate before start date.
• Post‑secondary education in Business, Science, or related field.
• Self‑motivated, strategic thinker with strong communication and leadership abilities.
