Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee – Mobile Hydraulic Solutions

About the role

SunSource’s Grow Our Own (GO2) Sales Training Program offers a one‑year rotational experience at the Mobile Engineering Center in Mississauga. As an Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee you will learn to sell hydraulic and pneumatic solutions for mobile equipment used in construction, agriculture, railway, transportation, and forestry.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across Fluid Power, learning product lines and system solutions.
• Develop prospecting and territory‑planning skills while supporting senior Account Managers in the field.
• Manage accounts, negotiate contracts, and solve customer technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Applications Engineering, Design Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, and Repair Operations.
• Receive continuous mentorship and visibility with senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Agribusiness or related field, OR an associate degree in a Fluid‑Power program, OR 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Strong desire to build a career in industrial sales and ability to relocate for 18 months.
• Clear communication, professional etiquette, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
