Temporary Letter Carrier – On‑Call Delivery Agent

About the role
Canada Post is seeking temporary, on‑call delivery agents to join its Winnipeg team. As the public face of the postal service, you will ensure that mail and parcels reach customers reliably, regardless of weather or season.
Key responsibilities
- Sort and prepare daily deliveries at the depot.
- Load and operate a Canada Post postal vehicle.
- Deliver mail and packages on foot or by vehicle along an assigned route.
- Return to the depot to unload incoming items for future delivery.
Required profile
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a safe driving record for at least three years (driver’s abstract required).
- Physical ability to lift items up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions and be available on‑call.
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English (French is a plus).
