About the role
PB30 CONTRACTING LTD. is seeking a motivated individual to install, maintain, and repair aerial and underground telecommunications lines in Surrey, BC. The role involves hands‑on work, testing cable signals, and ensuring reliable service for customers.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect, test and troubleshoot cable signals and associated equipment.
- Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment according to blueprints.
- Locate transmission faults and perform repairs on cables, power supplies and amplifiers.
- Splice, join and connect wires, and replace faulty components.
- Climb poles, ladders or other structures to work aloft safely.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of experience in telecommunications line installation or repair.
- Flexibility, good judgement, organization, reliability, client focus, initiative and teamwork.
Required skills
- Cable signal testing
