About the role

Airbus Atlantic Canada is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its Industrial Means team at the Mirabel plant, supporting the production of Airbus A220 and Global 7500 aircraft. The role reports to the supervisor and works on‑site, ensuring that production equipment operates at optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the established maintenance plan and respond to service calls.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance interventions.
• Complete failure reports and use the CMMS (GMAO) system for parts, plans and work orders.
• Participate in failure analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Communicate with the maintenance team, internal services and external manufacturers when needed.
• Update work instructions, electrical schematics and lockout/tagout sheets in collaboration with the reliability engineer.
• Contribute to equipment upgrades and improvements.

Required profile

• College diploma in industrial mechanics.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role.

Required skills

• Mechanical diagnostics.

• Proficiency with CMMS/GMAO software.
• Failure analysis.
• Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Updating work instructions and electrical plans.
