Technician – Medical Equipment Delivery & Installation

About the role

Join National Seating & Mobility (NSM) as a Technician and play a vital part in delivering, installing, and servicing complex rehabilitation seating, mobility and positioning systems across Canada. You will work directly with clients, caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective use of our medical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver, transfer and install all NSM equipment at client sites.
• Repair and adjust equipment or coordinate repairs with in‑store technicians.
• Label each item with a barcode and NSM identifier.
• Conduct equipment inspections to verify safety, proper installation and functionality.
• Complete service documentation and delivery records accurately and on time.
• Provide clear explanations to clients and caregivers on equipment use and care.
• Support company programs with professionalism, empathy and adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory tasks and other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Experience in equipment delivery, installation or a related technical field.
• Valid driver’s licence and eligibility to work in Canada.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lb, work in confined spaces and bend frequently.
• Strong problem‑solving ability based on non‑technical customer descriptions.
• Excellent verbal communication and a team‑oriented attitude.
