Technical Recruiter – High‑Velocity Hiring

About the role

We are seeking a high‑velocity Technical Recruiter to support a fast‑scaling engineering design services firm. This full‑time independent contractor position focuses on quickly matching specialized engineering talent with critical project needs, driving the company’s product roadmap acceleration.

Key responsibilities

• Deep‑dive into technical requirements to understand specific tech stacks, tools, and environments for diverse engineering roles.
• Drive high‑volume sourcing and outreach, delivering at least two quality candidate submissions per day.
• Execute rapid‑response recruitment, filling roles within a 48‑hour window.
• Manage the full‑cycle recruitment process in the ATS, from sourcing and screening to offer coordination.
• Conduct structured, competency‑based interviews to assess technical proficiency and cultural fit.
• Implement aggressive outbound strategies, including cold calling and LinkedIn outreach, to engage passive candidates.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and technical teams to ensure alignment on candidate profiles.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of interview outcomes and recruiter notes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical recruitment, preferably within engineering or SaaS environments.
• Hunter mentality with a strong drive to meet aggressive sourcing and placement KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong technical literacy to understand complex engineering requirements.
