Technical Proposal Writer/Coordinator

About the role

Clearway is seeking a Technical Proposal Writer/Coordinator to lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals for a variety of heavy‑civil construction projects. Reporting to the Senior Bid and Proposal Manager, you will ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, and compelling, supporting the company’s growth and success.

Key responsibilities

• Review RFPs, RFQs, RFTs and RFIs, creating requirement tables and ensuring compliance.
• Write technical construction work plans and methodologies that meet RFx requirements.
• Develop draft construction schedules in collaboration with scheduling staff.
• Contribute to compelling proposal narratives and coordinate with sub‑contractors for tender closings.
• Maintain and update the sub‑contractor database and manage proposal documents both digitally and in hard copy.
• Assist senior management, estimating, and operations teams with information for business development.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Communications, Architecture or related field (asset).
• 1‑5 years experience in the construction industry, heavy civil preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada (no sponsorship).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
