Technical Learning Manager

About the role

Lyft’s People Development team is looking for a Technical Learning Manager to own the strategy and execution of technical learning programs for Engineering, Science, Product and Design. This role sits at the intersection of learning design, program management and functional excellence, driving high‑impact learning experiences for technologists.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and execution of Lyft’s technical learning portfolio, including continuing education, documentation improvement and compliance training.
• Manage mid‑cycle programs, maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure continuity, quality and follow‑through.
• Provide editorial oversight for internal technical content initiatives such as the Tech Blog, managing workflow and publication processes.
• Assess the current program portfolio and make recommendations based on engineer needs and business priorities.
• Embed AI upskilling across programs, including LLM education and AI productivity programming.
• Partner with internal AI Champions and peer learning program owners to align technical learning initiatives.
• Own and maintain tech learning sites, resources and reference materials to keep content current and discoverable.
• Design programs in ambiguous spaces, define success metrics and build scalable continuing education pathways.

Required profile

• Report to the Head of People Development.
• Collaborate closely with Functional Excellence leadership, HR Business Partners and cross‑functional partners.
