Technical Architecture Lead – IBM Maximo (MAS)

About the role

Accenture’s Industry X practice is looking for a senior Technical Architecture Lead to design, implement and oversee scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for IBM Maximo Asset Management System (MAS) version 9. The role works closely with cross‑functional teams to align architecture with business goals and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and test non‑functional requirements for Maximo MAS9.
• Plan and coordinate disaster‑recovery testing with clients and vendors.
• Define monitoring parameters for application, infrastructure, operational and security alerts.
• Lead on‑shore and off‑shore team members in daily activities.
• Support multiple teams (test, deployment, conversion, change management) and troubleshoot environment issues.
• Tune JVMs, configure JMS and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with client security teams to remediate web and application layer vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with Maximo integration technologies (MIF, MEA, object structures, services, channels).
• Proven work in agile software development environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure and DevOps pipelines.
• Ability to read and analyze database AWR reports and provide tuning recommendations.
• Solid background in Maximo setup, configuration, server clustering, load balancing and application server configuration.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, networking, firewall concepts and security (SSL, data encryption, directory servers).
• Fluent English; bilingual French/English is a plus.
• Eligibility for Security Reliability clearance is a bonus.
