IBM Maximo (MAS) Technical Specialist

About the role

The IBM Maximo (MAS) Technical Specialist will provide subject‑matter expertise across the IBM Maximo Application Suite, lead deployments on Red Hat OpenShift, and ensure secure, scalable, and highly available implementations. The role works closely with architects, platform administrators, and integration teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions for clients in manufacturing, energy and other industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, upgrade and maintain MAS Core and suite applications (Manage, Health, Monitor, Predict) on OpenShift using MAS CLI.
• Automate deployments and environment configuration with Ansible, Terraform, YAML, JSON and XML.
• Troubleshoot complex installation, performance and stabilization issues across MAS and supporting infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IBM and other vendors to resolve platform defects and enhancement requests.
• Monitor system health, performance and reliability, and produce technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development or a related field, or equivalent college program.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with fluency in English.
• Ability to work across multiple Canadian locations and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
