Team Leader / Senior – Domiciliary Care Service

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader / Senior to take overall operational responsibility for our domiciliary care service. You will act as the Registered Manager, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the service through CQC registration and maintain a minimum GOOD rating.
• Oversee quality assurance, audits, safeguarding, and governance.
• Ensure safe, effective care delivery in line with individual care plans and company policies.
• Grow billable care hours, develop new service packages and nurture commissioner relationships.
• Manage office staff, care coordinators, team leaders and care workers, fostering a positive culture.
• Monitor recruitment, training, supervision, competency assessments and workforce compliance.
• Maintain accurate, audit‑ready documentation and records.
• Build strong relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, families and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager in domiciliary care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, inspection processes and compliance standards.
• Proven track record of growing billable care hours.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence with business insurance; mileage reimbursed.
