About the role
Atlantic Way Care, part of the National Care Group, is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join its Tavistock site. You will lead a team delivering 24‑hour, person‑centred support to adults with complex needs, ensuring high standards of safety, well‑being and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for staff management, coaching and development.
- Lead the delivery of group and individual activities that meet client goals and wellbeing measures.
- Monitor and support the quality of care, ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation and national standards.
- Coordinate effective communication with external partners and internal teams.
- Achieve agreed annual objectives and maintain accurate back‑office records.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, proactive and dedicated approach to work.
- Experience in leading teams within adult social or health care settings.
- Commitment to promoting dignity, confidence and independence for service users.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required; focus is on leadership and care coordination.
