Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager

About the role

D&H Group LLP is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join its growing team of professionals in Vancouver. The role involves leading tax engagements, managing a diverse client portfolio, and collaborating with partners to deliver high‑quality tax services while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of tax projects, providing tailored tax planning strategies and technical analysis.
• Review complex tax filings, including audits, objections, voluntary disclosures and taxpayer relief submissions with the CRA.
• Oversee and review the work of staff and senior accountants, offering mentorship and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop firm‑wide policies, best practices and internal processes.
• Lead technical training sessions and contribute to the development of team members.

Required profile

• CPA designation in good standing.
• Currently enrolled in or completed the CPA Canada In‑Depth Tax Program.
• 1‑2+ years of Canadian public practice experience focused on taxation.
• Proficiency in tax preparation and compliance software and other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate, personal and indirect tax laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
