Tax Manager – Client Facing Leadership Role

About the role
This client‑facing leadership position works closely with the tax group and firm management to design and implement tax and business‑planning strategies for both new and existing privately‑owned clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare tax technical research, correspondence and memoranda.
- Review complex tax compliance matters, including tax returns and election forms.
- Provide tax‑related support to team members across all client engagements.
- Coach and develop junior professionals and other team members.
- Identify planning opportunities and generate additional business from existing clients.
Required profile
- Designated CPA.
- Current enrollment in or completion of the CPA Canada In‑depth Tax Course.
- Minimum 4 years of public practice experience, with at least 2 years focused on Canadian private‑company tax.
- Strong tax compliance background and understanding of challenges faced by small‑to‑medium sized businesses.
