Talent Acquisition Manager

About the role

This remote‑first position will lead and scale the entire recruitment function for a fast‑growing organization based in Canada. You will combine hands‑on hiring with strategic talent initiatives, focusing heavily on Product and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full Talent Acquisition function while executing day‑to‑day hiring for technical and non‑technical roles.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, success profiles, and hiring priorities.
• Develop and run proactive sourcing strategies, including outbound search, referrals, and talent pipeline development.
• Improve hiring workflows, interview structures, and calibration processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Leverage recruitment data, funnel metrics, and market insights to inform decisions and optimize performance.
• Build and maintain recruiting dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility.
• Collaborate closely with People and leadership teams in a fast‑paced, iterative environment.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition Manager, Recruitment Lead, or equivalent senior recruiting role.
• Proven track record hiring for Product and Engineering positions in startup or high‑growth settings.
• Strong ability to assess technical talent and evaluate long‑term team fit.
• Experience improving hiring processes and interview quality.
