Talent Acquisition Lead

About the role

This position is for a Talent Acquisition Lead based in Canada, reporting to a partner organization that manages all applications. The role combines people leadership with hands‑on recruiting, driving hiring outcomes for a fast‑growing global company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a recruiter pod, setting focus, priorities and ensuring delivery against hiring goals.
• Coach and develop recruiters through regular one‑on‑ones, performance reviews and career growth discussions.
• Execute complex and senior searches personally while guiding the team on sourcing, outreach and stakeholder communication.
• Translate broader talent acquisition objectives into clear, actionable goals for the team.
• Continuously improve recruiting practices, ensuring scalability, consistency and an exceptional candidate experience.
• Identify and escalate performance challenges, partnering with leadership on solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or executive search.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a recruiting team, pod or similar function.
• Proven ability to manage personal recruiting workload while developing other recruiters.
• Deep knowledge of the full hiring lifecycle, from sourcing strategy to candidate engagement.
