Talent Acquisition Consultant – 12‑Month Rotation

About the role

Hydro One is seeking a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join its Talent Acquisition team for a 12‑month rotation in Toronto. You will partner with hiring managers and candidates to deliver a seamless recruitment experience while supporting the company’s brand and diversity goals.

Key responsibilities

• Create a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Manage end‑to‑end hiring for unionized and non‑unionized roles, including postings, sourcing, interviewing, reference checks and offers.
• Advise managers on sourcing strategies, policies, collective‑agreement compliance and relevant legislation.
• Act as a Hydro One brand ambassador, promoting the employer brand to attract top talent.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines using market analysis and data insights.
• Lead talent‑acquisition projects and initiatives as needed.
• Coordinate career fairs, on‑campus events, networking sessions and other recruitment activities.
• Stay current on recruiting trends and innovative sourcing techniques.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of recruitment experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail, time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt to change and work flexibly.
• Experience with ATS/HRIS systems (SuccessFactors) and familiarity with SAP and ServiceNow is preferred.
• Experience in a unionized setting or utility/manufacturing sector is an asset.
• Interest or experience in HR analytics and employer branding.
