Talent Acquisition Advisor – Contract (12‑15 months)

About the role

Join a leading Canadian engineering and nuclear organization as a Talent Acquisition Advisor on a 12‑15 month contract. Based in Mississauga, you will work with an experienced recruitment team to attract and secure top talent for engineering, construction and project‑driven operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment cycles for diverse business needs.
• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing requirements and hiring strategies.
• Execute sourcing campaigns using social media, networking, referrals and talent events.
• Build and maintain specialised candidate pipelines through market research and competitor analysis.
• Utilise applicant tracking systems to document activities and ensure process efficiency.
• Represent the company at industry events and career fairs to enhance market presence.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase recruitment effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑influence skills.
• Experience attracting talent through networking, cold‑calling and targeted campaigns.

Required skills

• LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technologies.
