Systems Deployment Specialist

About the role

LGI Healthcare Solutions, part of the LGI group that has built healthcare software for over 40 years, is looking for a Systems Deployment Specialist in Montreal. The role performs installation, upgrade, enhancement, relocation and migration of products and their components according to each client's environment, using established procedures and tools; these activities are done remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, upgrade, enhancement, relocation and migration of products and components according to each client's environment, using established procedures and tools (remote)
• Support clients in problem resolution through root cause analysis, solution implementation and meeting client needs
• Process customer requests using the appropriate support tool and act as the central point of contact for follow-up on outstanding issues
• Provide internal Level 2 support for operational and equipment software questions
• Advise clients on the latest products, system operations and on the implementation of new hardware and software
• Keep documentation of team procedures and processes up to date and update client inventory information in the appropriate tool

Required profile

• College diploma (DEC) in a field related to information technology and relevant experience
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Bilingualism in French and English, for documentation and verbal and written communication with clients, vendors and colleagues
• Availability to work regularly on an atypical schedule

Required skills

• Solaris, Unix, Linux and Windows environments
• Azure DevOps
• Oracle and MS SQL databases
• Root cause analysis, problem solving and strong analytical skills
