System Administrator (Contract)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing SaaS company seeking a contract System Administrator to join our IT Operations team. You will manage core internal systems, focusing on identity and access management, SaaS platform administration, and automation in a modern, cloud‑first workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimise Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Jira.
• Manage identity and access lifecycle, including provisioning, de‑provisioning, RBAC, SSO and MFA.
• Implement permissions frameworks and access controls.
• Identify and automate workflow improvements using scripting and AI tools such as Zapier, Claude or Gemini.
• Act as escalation point for complex IT support issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Support endpoint management for macOS and Windows devices.
• Assist with network troubleshooting and vendor coordination.
• Ensure changes comply with security and compliance policies.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a System Administrator or IT Operations role.
• Hands‑on experience with Okta (or similar IAM tools) and Google Workspace administration.
• Experience managing SaaS tools such as Slack and Jira.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management and user lifecycle processes.
