System Administrator – Azure & Microsoft 365 (Montreal)

About the role

Equans is seeking a System Administrator to join its IT team in Montreal. You will work with a group of Microsoft, Linux and Microsoft 365 administrators to maintain the company’s entire computer network, including cloud platforms and on‑premise infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud services across all Equans North America entities.
• Maintain, commission, update, monitor and secure server‑room equipment at multiple sites.
• Ensure proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and daily backups using VEEAM.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as Azure, VMWare, Nutanix and Hyper‑V.
• Secure and preserve the integrity of Active Directory and line‑of‑business applications.
• Participate in IT projects and recommend improvements to system reliability.
• Operate in compliance with ISO standards and ITIL processes while meeting SLA targets.

Required profile

• Experience working in an international IT environment with Microsoft‑centric technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with backup and restore procedures using VEEAM.
• Understanding of ISO standards and ITIL service‑management processes.
