About the role
We are looking for a motivated Swamper to join our logging and forestry team in Montreal. The role involves supporting forestry workers in outdoor environments, handling tree yarding and trail clearing tasks. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Assist forestry and logging workers with daily operations.
- Attach cables or chokers to felled trees for yarding.
- Operate chain saws to clear trails through woodlands.
Required profile
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work.
- Available to work day shifts.
- No previous experience needed; training will be provided.
Required skills
- Chain saw operation.
- Attachment of cables or chokers to trees.
