Surveyor – Civil Construction (Fraser Valley)

About the role

Emil Anderson Construction is seeking a motivated Surveyor with civil construction or engineering experience to join its Fraser Valley team. The role involves supporting layout and measurement activities on roadbuilding and infrastructure projects across British Columbia.

Key responsibilities

• Perform topographic surveys, structural layout, as‑builts, and construction staking (slope, grade, road, development).
• Interpret engineered drawings and translate them into accurate field layouts.
• Measure and record field data with high precision and compile survey reports.
• Communicate daily with supervisors and project managers to ensure alignment.
• Support general labour duties as needed.

Required profile

• Experience using Trimble GNSS and Total Station equipment.
• Working towards or holding a certification in Geomatics.
• Valid Canadian driver’s licence with a clean abstract.
• Willingness to travel within the province and work night shifts if required.
