Summer Ringette Camp Instructor

About the role

WinSport is looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join its Summer Ringette Camps as instructors. You will guide young athletes aged 5‑11 through on‑ice and off‑ice activities that develop skating fundamentals, ring control, passing, shooting, and game concepts while fostering confidence and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑ice drills and stations under the guidance of the Lead Instructor.
• Plan, lead, and adapt daily off‑ice ringette programs for groups of up to 12 participants.
• Create weekly lesson plans that ensure age‑appropriate skill progression.
• Set up and tear down equipment, maintain accurate attendance and participant records.
• Serve as a positive role model, promote sportsmanship, and mediate any participant conflicts.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about camper progress and daily updates.
• Support overall camp logistics, administrative tasks, and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in ringette skill development and youth mentorship.
• Ability to work safely with children ages 5‑11 and adapt coaching style to varying skill levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage campers, teammates, and parents.
