Summer Hockey Camp Instructor (August 17-28)

About the role

WinSport is looking for energetic and passionate individuals to join its Summer Hockey Camps as instructors from August 17 to 28. You will work with children aged 4‑12, delivering on‑ice and off‑ice hockey skill development in a safe, fun, and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement program policies, ensure participant safety, and report any concerns.
• Lead on‑ice drills and stations under the guidance of the Lead Instructor.
• Plan, deliver, and adapt off‑ice hockey activities, creating weekly lesson plans that promote skill progression.
• Set up and dismantle equipment, maintain accurate attendance and participant records.
• Supervise groups of up to 12 campers, mediate conflicts, and model sportsmanship.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about camper progress and daily updates.
• Support daily logistics, equipment handling, and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in hockey, youth mentorship, and creating a positive learning atmosphere.
• Ability to adapt coaching style to different ages and skill levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills to serve as a role model and manage group dynamics.

Required skills

• On‑ice hockey instruction and basic skating techniques.
