Student Fraud & Security Analyst

About the role

Join the Fraud and Security Team at OLG for a semester‑long, full‑time co‑op where you will help protect the iGaming platform from fraudulent and illegal activity. You will work closely with the Director of Regulatory Assurance & Player Protection and gain hands‑on experience in AML reporting, account eligibility reviews, and fraud investigation.

Key responsibilities

• Review player accounts to ensure compliance with OLG policies and AGCO standards.
• Assess and process account reinstatement requests, approving or denying based on set criteria.
• Prepare and submit AML reports to the OLG AML team.
• Analyze transaction data to identify suspicious activity and support the Anti‑Fraud Manager with recommendations.
• Collaborate with Corporate Security, AGCO, and OPP on escalated fraud cases.
• Verify player identity and financial information to maintain compliance with OLG’s Terms of Use.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program, preferably in law, security, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
