Strategic Sourcing Manager – Senior (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

Join a leading financial institution’s People & Culture team as a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager. You will shape sourcing strategy, drive cost‑effective procurement initiatives, and support a purpose‑driven culture across HR‑related services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to People & Culture business partners, influencing cost‑management and sourcing decisions.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing events (RFI/RFP), supplier selection, contract negotiation and category‑management framework development.
• Conduct market assessments, risk analyses and supplier performance monitoring.
• Manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
• Collaborate with legal, risk and compliance teams to embed supplier risk assessments into contracts.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or contract negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, controls and category‑management best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing abilities.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and handling complex stakeholder relationships.
