Strategic Asset Allocation & Client Relations Co-op (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Strategic Asset Allocation & Client Relations Co-op for the Fall 2026 term offers students hands‑on experience within BCI’s Investment Strategy & Risk department. Interns will work across three workstreams—Asset‑Liability Management, Global Macro research, and Client Relations—supporting the development of investment policies and client‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the creation of asset‑liability studies, strategic asset allocation models, and investment policy recommendations.
• Support the management of BCI’s product shelf, ensuring client‑focused rationales for pooled funds.
• Update long‑term capital market assumptions, economic scenarios and simulation models.
• Conduct independent research on capital markets, investment strategies, performance metrics and investment products.
• Prepare client reports, presentations and meeting materials.
• Proactively contribute to exceeding client service expectations.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Strong analytical and research abilities with a keen interest in investment strategy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
