About the role

Join Walmart Canada as a Stockperson and Cartpusher, where you will play a key part in keeping the store safe and organized while delivering excellent customer service. This part‑time role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to develop retail and logistics skills.

Key responsibilities

• Collect shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot and store perimeter and return them to a designated storage location following Walmart procedures.
• Assist customers at registers with carry‑outs or carry‑ins and verify receipts when required.
• Perform occasional cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, handling chemicals safely and completing inspection reports for power equipment.
• Follow safety and emergency protocols, including hazardous communication, lockout/tagout, and blood‑borne pathogen procedures.
• Maintain the Cart Retrieval Log at the Customer Service Desk.
• Conduct safety sweeps and promote a hazard‑free work environment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment such as steel‑toe footwear and a reflective vest during cart collection.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving carts.
• Customer‑service orientation with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Required skills

• Safe operation of power equipment.
• Basic knowledge of workplace safety procedures (hazard communication, lockout/tagout, blood‑borne pathogens).
• Use of personal protective equipment (steel‑toe shoes, reflective vest).
