Specialist, Human Resources Operations

About the role

The Specialist, Human Resources Operations will manage day‑to‑day HR processes across the employee lifecycle for The King’s Trust Canada. Reporting to the Director, People and Performance, this hands‑on role ensures HR activities are accurate, consistent, and aligned with organisational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, employee engagement, and off‑boarding.
• Prepare employment letters, contracts, policy acknowledgements and onboarding materials with precision.
• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records, personnel files, organisational charts and HR trackers.
• Support internal HR communications such as staff announcements, policy updates and engagement materials.
• Develop and enforce structured workflows, templates, checklists and documentation standards to ensure operational consistency.
• Strengthen HR systems, documentation practices, compliance and overall operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and hands‑on with strong administrative execution.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Discretion in handling confidential employee information.
• Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for organisation‑wide initiatives.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of $62,500 – $69,000 CAD per year.
