About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sous-chef to join our kitchen team in Ottawa. This part‑time, permanent position offers a supportive environment where you will assist the head chef in daily food preparation and service.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the head chef with menu planning, ingredient preparation, and cooking.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff during morning and day shifts.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations.
Required profile
- College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year) or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a kitchen environment is an asset.
- Availability for morning and day shifts.
