Software Engineer (Python) – Up to 200k CAD + Bonus – FinTech – Montreal

About the role

We are seeking top Software Developers in Canada who enjoy building complex, high‑performance applications for an elite FinTech firm.

Key responsibilities

• Create fast, responsive, and intuitive front‑end experiences for complex web applications.
• Build and support server‑side applications that power platforms and analytical tools handling exabyte‑scale data in real time.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into production‑ready features.
• Contribute clear, efficient code to a well‑engineered codebase that supports long‑term stability and growth.

Required profile

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Proven experience developing production‑grade full‑stack applications using the Python ecosystem.
• React experience is a plus.
• Prior exposure to trading or FinTech environments is beneficial but not required.
• Strong curiosity for technology and a habit of staying current with new frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
