Software Engineer II – SDET (Java, Fraud Platform)

About the role

Join Mastercard's Operations & Technology Fraud Products team as a Software Engineer II (SDET). You will help build high‑performance, low‑latency Java solutions for the Decision Management Platform that processes billions of transactions each month, protecting cardholder identity and combating fraud.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical leads to design and implement innovative Java‑based capabilities on the Fraud Platform.
• Work within a co‑located Agile Scrum team, defining user stories with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts.
• Develop scalable, secure software and produce design documentation following Mastercard standards.
• Troubleshoot operational incidents and assist with incident resolution.
• Research alternative technical solutions to address evolving business needs.
• Meet project deadlines while managing emerging issues and recommending solutions.

Required profile
