Wagepoint is seeking a Software Development Engineer – Mobile to help build and enhance its payroll platform for small businesses across Canada. This fully remote position joins a diverse, remote‑first team focused on delivering reliable, user‑friendly mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications that integrate with Wagepoint’s payroll services.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver features that simplify payroll for customers.
• Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews to ensure high quality.
• Ensure mobile app performance, security, and reliability.
• Implement analytics and monitoring to improve user experience.
• Participate in sprint planning and continuous improvement of development processes.
