About the role
We are seeking a Software Developer specialized in Rust to join an elite FinTech firm in Montreal. The role involves building high-performance, low-latency systems and contributing to a proprietary database and machine-learning infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Develop low-level, latency-sensitive applications using Rust.
- Design and implement components of a high-performance proprietary database.
- Work on research-driven projects involving functional programming concepts.
- Build and improve infrastructure supporting machine-learning workflows and real-world model deployment.
Required profile
- Strong experience developing software with Rust.
- Academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Proven ability to work in environments where performance, efficiency, and reliability are critical.
