Software Developer – Java Full-Stack (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a contract Java Software Developer to join Fidelity’s Digital Applications Development team on a 100 % remote basis. The role runs until August 2027 and focuses on building and supporting Fidelity Canada’s web properties, including public‑facing sites and internal corporate applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug and document web applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Maintain security standards across all sites and related services.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and business stakeholders in Scrum ceremonies.
• Participate in the full SDLC, including DevOps activities and production support.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum two years of professional software development experience.
• Current work authorization for Canada.
