Software Developer III – Precision Health Platform

About the role

Join Verily's Precision Health Platform engineering team to build modular, composable, and interoperable components that store and process precision health data. You will work on core platform services that power AI‑enabled health solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver new software features across Verily's tech stack.
• Identify technical design challenges, evaluate alternatives, and propose robust solutions.
• Develop using industry‑standard tools such as GitHub, Google Cloud Platform, Go, Docker, and Terraform.

Required profile

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience building software on cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure acceptable).
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Java, C/C++, C#, Objective‑C, Go, Python, JavaScript).

What we offer

• Base salary range CAD $120,000 – $136,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits.
