Social Media Specialist, Marketing

About the role

The Social Media Specialist joins the Social Media Team at Groupe Dynamite Inc. and serves as the frontline voice of the GARAGE brand. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role focuses on creating and curating innovative content, engaging with customers in real‑time, and supporting omni‑channel campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the GARAGE social media strategy across all platforms.
• Plan, copywrite, schedule, and seed content in partnership with photography and graphic teams.
• Collaborate with product, visual, e‑commerce, and marketing teams to ensure consistent brand voice.
• Generate engagement and audience growth through creative content and influencer partnerships.
• Provide online customer support by liaising with customer‑service specialists.
• Conduct social listening to identify cultural trends and conversations.
• Report on performance using native and third‑party analytics tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum three years of social media marketing experience, preferably in retail.
• Proven track record of delivering compelling content and increasing traffic and engagement.
• Strong analytical background with experience in reporting and data analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with major social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Experience using social listening tools.
• Ability to work with analytics platforms (native platform insights and third‑party tools).
• Content planning and scheduling tools.
